Experience: Mr. Glassman specializes in intellectual property and entertainment litigation including misappropriation of name, voice or likeness, right of publicity, copyright infringement, prosecution and defense of defamation claims, white collar criminal defense and general business litigation. While serving as an Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Glassman tried 35 jury trials including prosecutions for tax evasion, mail and wire fraud, narcotic conspiracies, counterfeiting and obscenity. Since entering private practice in 1969, Mr. Glassman has tried approximately 50 criminal and civil jury trials including bank fraud, mail and wire fraud, securities violations, tax evasion, copyright infringement and general commercial and entertainment litigation. Mr. Glassman has also argued appeals before the California Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit en banc, the California Court of Appeal and the Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal. |
