Bergeson, LLP attorneys Don Gagliardi and Colin McCarthy host charitable dinner for Soccer Silicon Valley Community Foundation
On September 19, 2009, Bergeson, LLP partner Don Gagliardi and associate Colin McCarthy hosted a charitable dinner at which San Jose Earthquakes owner Lew Wolff unveiled the design for a new soccer stadium in San Jose. Gagliardi is the President, and McCarthy the Vice President, of Soccer Silicon Valley Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to building community through soccer. The group works closely with the Earthquakes management and players to perform charitable work in the community, including raising money to fight autism and leukemia & lymphoma, sending soccer balls and equipment to underdeveloped countries and bringing underprivileged kids to Earthquakes games.
