Northern District of California Federal Court grants application for Temporary Restraining Order filed by Bergeson, LLP on behalf of local company.
On June 22, 2004, Judge White of the Northern District of California Federal Court granted an application for a temporary restraining order filed by Bergeson, LLP on behalf of a local company barring three former employees from using trade secrets of their former employer in their new business. The Court found that the company was likely to prevail on the merits of its claims and granted an order preventing use of the company's claimed trade secrets, preventing the employees from soliciting business from certain of the company's customers and potential customers, and requiring the former employees to cease publishing certain false and misleading statements about their former employer and their new company's product. The firm’s effective utilization of computer forensics and e-discovery techniques were instrumental to the victory. Daniel J. Bergeson, Ina Stangenes, Hway-ling Hsu and Mindy Morton represented the prevailing party. |
