Experience: Mr. McCarthy practices complex commercial and business litigation.  Before joining Bergeson, LLP, Mr. McCarthy was associated with Robinson & Wood. He has first chair jury trial experience and has counseled on a wide variety of insurance matters.  As a law student, Mr. McCarthy was on the Dean’s list and was one of the six members of the 1996-1997 Santa Clara University School of Law Trial Team. Mr. McCarthy was also commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy on graduation from Boston College.

Mr. McCarthy is also active in the community.  He was a founder and the first president of Soccer Silicon Valley, a business trade organization dedicated to grow professional and amateur soccer in the Bay Area.  He is currently vice president of Soccer Silicon Valley’s Community Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping the less fortunate enjoy soccer.
