Morton will be one of the featured speakers at a seminar entitled “Metadata and Embedded Data: Concerns for Litigators & Transactional Attorneys.” The seminar, sponsored by the High Technology Law Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, will address how law firm lawyers and in-house counsel can mitigate risks and avoid ethical violations such as: lawyer-generated documents sent to adversaries as e-mail attachments; lawyer-generated and client-created documents e-filed and otherwise publicly disseminated; and client-created documents produced during litigation’s electronic discovery process. |
