Court Grants $60 Million Partial Summary Judgment For Bergeson, LLP Clients

The Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court has granted partial summary judgment in favor of Bergeson, LLP’s clients Gobi Partners (“Gobi”) and Oak Investment Partners (“Oak”) in connection with their breach of contract claims against VisionChina Media Inc. and its subsidiary (collectively, “VisionChina”). This decision will allow Gobi and Oak to proceed to collect a judgment for $60 million against VisionChina. The Appellate Court also affirmed the dismissal of VisionChina’s claims of fraud. These decisions are the latest in a series of victories for Bergeson, LLP clients Gobi and Oak in their legal campaign to ensure that VisionChina and its subsidiary comply with their contractual obligation to pay for their acquisition of Digital Medical Group (DMG).
