Bergeson, LLP Affiliated Counsel Jared Kopel Quoted In Article About FCPA Nonprosecution Agreement

Bergeson, LLP Affiliated Counsel Jared Kopel was quoted in an April 24, 2013 San Francisco Daily Journal Article about a nonprosecution agreement between the SEC and Ralph Lauren Corp., with was the first SEC agreement of its kind to deal with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. Mr. Kopel, a former SEC enforcement attorney, noted that he found the location of the filing interesting, stating “It’s intriguing that [the agreement] was conducted by the San Francisco office. They announced a while back that they were going to be more active in FCPA cases, and this could be tangible proof that they’ve been looking into them.”
