Caroline McIntyre’s Article On Second Trials Featured In ABTL Report

Caroline McIntyre’s article, “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Trial, Trial Again” is featured in the current issue of the Northern California Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) Report.  The article provides helpful information for trial lawyers faced with a second trial after the Court has granted a motion for new trial or has declared a mistrial.  In particular, the article offers tips to present evidence more effectively at the second trial, including considering jury input from the first trial, reconsidering the theme as well as witnesses who will be called to testify and the order of their testimony, and evaluating any new discovery that might be helpful.
