Partner Vince Parrett to Speak on SCCBA Panel on Tactics and Traps in Deposing and Defending Business Representatives

On May 19, 2020, Vince Parrett will speak on a highly-experienced panel of business, employment and trade secret trial lawyers, focusing on best practices in taking and defending depositions of public or private corporations, partnerships, associations, governmental agencies, or other entities.  The panel will focus on the many tactics and potential traps in framing the subject matters to be covered in the deposition notice, selecting and prepping the representatives, strategies during the depositions, and handling problems which may arise. They will discuss particular issues that may arise in employment, trade secret and financial cases. The program will include demonstrations of preparing a witness and taking the deposition.  The SCCBA will host this program remotely through a Zoom or GoToMeeting webinar.
