Bergeson, LLP Adds Media Law Group

Bergeson, LLP, one of Silicon Valley’s leading business litigation firms, announced today that nationally recognized First Amendment and media law attorneys Anthony Michael Glassman and Rebecca Nell Kaufman have joined the firm’s new Southern California office as partners, and will lead the Media Law group.

Mr. Glassman and Ms. Kaufman are among a select group of attorneys who represent clients in high-profile media cases, including defamation, commercial disparagement, invasion of privacy and misappropriation of name, likeness and performance.

A former Assistant United States Attorney and Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Glassman has represented such notable clients as Allergan Pharmaceutical International and Sketchers USA.  In addition, Mr. Glassman recently co-chaired a $38.3 million unanimous jury verdict in a Nevada Internet defamation case.

Ms. Kaufman has litigated cases involving numerous industries, including banking, insurance, construction, real estate, technology, and industrial manufacturing.  Her focus is on First Amendment rights, media law, product disparagement, publicity and privacy rights and crisis management.
