Peter has litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout the country and has experience guiding clients through all stages of a dispute—from pre-litigation counseling through dispositive motion practice and trial. His background includes substantial work in patent litigation, and he draws on that experience to handle technically complex matters across a range of industries.
Before joining Bergeson, LLP, Peter practiced at an international law firm where he managed commercial litigation involving multifaceted factual records, numerous witnesses, and expert testimony. He brings a practical and strategic mindset to each case, with a focus on achieving efficient, business-minded resolutions.
Championing Justice with Pro Bono Service
Peter also maintains a strong commitment to pro bono service. He has represented individuals and nonprofit organizations in matters ranging from immigration and asylum to civil rights and housing disputes. His pro bono work reflects a belief that legal advocacy should be accessible and impactful across all communities.
Outside the office, Peter was a member of the band “The Latent Defects” at the 2025 Law Rocks battle of the bands in San Francisco, reflecting his commitment to community and creativity beyond the courtroom.

- Represented patent owner against cable and satellite television companies relating to innovative MoCA related technology.
- Represented the developer of cutting-edge RF Microneedling technology before the International Trade Commission.
- Represented inventor of true wireless headphones in patent litigation and arbitration relating to true wireless and assistant technology in Apple’s AirPods products.
- Represented inventor and developer of innovative Cloud SIM technology in patent infringement and trade secret cases against competitor, including successful trial in the Southern District of New York.
- Represented major foreign manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries against patent holder in ITC investigation through trial before the International Trade Commission.
- Represented a victim of online cyber-crimes relating to the unlawful publication of intimate copyrighted images.
